David Court
David has accomplished many of the famous skiing and hiking routes in Zermatt, Chamonix and the Dolomites as well as more remote objectives in the Andes and the Lyngen Alps of Norway.
Needless to say, the mountains have been a defining element of his character, so he is always enthusiastic about providing guests with a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that embodies the overall alpine experience.
David is the owner and operator of Alpine Exposure.
Rowena Phillips
Rowena started skiing at the age of three on the slopes of Lech, Austria, and continued skiing through school and racing at university. Ever since she started skiing, she wanted to live in the Alps and become a ski instructor. She has now been in Zermatt for over 16 years and loves it just as much as she did when she first arrived!
Rowena is a qualified graduate of the Swiss Federal Ski Instructor program and is the owner and director Matterhorn Diamonds Ski School.
Brian Farquharson
Originally from Scotland, Brian moved to the Swiss Alps in 1982 and is now an International Mountain Guide (IFMGA). He is also the owner of Outdoor Activities, which offers mountaineering tours, treks, and instruction all over the world..
Brian is particularly known his good humor and for going the extra distance by practicing avalanche and mountain safety skills - providing clients with an often unexpected learning experience.
Dave Miler
Dave has worked as a guide in rock climbing, mountaineering, and ski mountaineering throughout North America, Europe, Mexico and South America since 2001, achieving his international IFMGA guiding certification in 2008. He is the owner of International Alpine Guides and is known for his easy going demeanor and flexibility while in the mountains. He believes flexibility is key to any mountain adventure and is always willing to change objectives to suit your goals and abilities.
Stefan Dürst
Stefan is a graduate of the Swiss Federal Ski Instructor program and has been a trainer since 2009 for instructors in various institutions all over Europe.
With Stefan's background as a ski expert he is an ideal person to teach you the newest techniques no matter if you are a beginner or pro who wants to enjoy carving, freeride, bumps or a gentle cruise.
Stefan is owner of Element of Snow.
Jörg Johannes
Jörg is an instructor with the Swiss Ski and Snowboard School and co-owner of Element of Snow with Stefan. He is a dedicated professional who has competed in the Freeride World Tour and the World Extreme Skiing championships in Valdez, Alaska.
In the summer, you can find him at Lake Como where he operates his own kite surfing school.
