Charles Donelan is the executive arts editor for the Santa Barbara Independent, one of my first clients with Alpine Exposure, and now a close friend.

It was in Chamonix that we first discussed the importance of the Romantic Movement of English Literature. Not only did it popularize mountaineering but it also provided a means for people to identify with a wildly unfamiliar environment.
